Target 1 - I managed to eat a balanced breakfast every day of the week, boy oh boy I feel great now! This has improved my learning tremendously.
Target 2 - I went back and changed my personal development plan to show where I started and where I am now. This helps with seeing my progress.
Target 3 - I got most of my unit 19 P1 complete, now I just need to email my teacher and receive corrections so I can get these finished.

Week 14 targets
Target 1 - Get caught up on all of my work outstanding throughout all of my subjects. I have 3 coursework based subjects so I have quite a bit to do.

Week 13 targets review
Target 1 - I helped farmer Pete with his lawn and got it done within a good amount of time, it took some darn hard work but it was damn sure worth it!
Target 2 - I received the corrections from my teacher and made a start on them. I have quite a lot of work on the document remaining since I have parts of the work that I'm not sure how to complete but hopefully it will be done soon.

Week 12 targets review
Target 1 - I worked a lot on my M2/D2 and managed to get it completed to a point where I can send it into my teacher and get corrections/comments on it. This is good because I wasn't expecting to get all of the tasks done.
Target 2 - This week I went to my in class support session and helped out with the class. During the hour I got some of my own work done when nobody needed help so it was a productive hour.
Target 3 - I went online to the UCAS site and searched for lots of different university courses. I haven taken an interest in media courses and network security.

Week 12 targets
Target 1 - Get a lot of my M2/D2 for unit 2 finished, it is a big task so im not expecting to get all of it completed this week. If I do however manage to get it all completed it means next week I will probably be able to get the corrections done.
Target 2 - Get back on track with my in class support sessions. Every Thursday I go into a media class and help younger years with their work, last week I had to miss a lesson to do some of my own media work but this week I need to get back on track, as they help both the class and me, due to it looking good on a CV.

Week 11 targets
Target 1 - I want to create revision sheets for English language so I can refer to them when closer to the exam, to do this im going to use A3 paper and jot down everything needed on a specific part of the subject , I will use the resources I got from an earlier blog post to create the revision sheets, and hopefully they will help me when revising.
Target 2 - Use more of my free time to study on my subjects. Lately I have been using my free periods in the common room as opposed to the study room or other classes, this is an issue as im not using all of my time effectively and I could end up failing some tasks because of it.
Target 3 - For my third target I need to research cameras for media. After a few filming sessions ive realised that getting advanced shots needed to get a high grade are difficult to pull off. For this reason I need to dedicate an hour or two to going online and researching the best settings for what I want, and how to shoot more professionally in general.

Target 1 - I did my English language homework but failed the part associated with exam conditions. I typed my essay up onto a computer to reduce the amount of time it would take and in future, I need to do them hand written on paper for this reason.
Target 2 - We planned out the media film together and managed to get a rough idea what we wanted to do for it. We took a lesson out in the hall to record the film and managed to get a lot of it done, but there will be more filming next week.
Target 3 - I went into the IT tracker and got all of my outstanding work complete, there wasn't as much outstanding work as I had initially expected, so it didn't take very long. I did corrections on my job application letter and also completed P4 for Unit 1.

Week 10 targets
Target 1 - Do my homework for English Language. This is an important piece of homework in which I am to write an essay on a text we have been given, this needs to be completed within a decent amount of time to replicate exam conditions, so it shouldn't take very long.

Week 9 targets
Target 1 - Start filming for my media coursework, I have done a lot of my research and planning and now I just need to find an appropriate setting and book some equipment from the department so I can start.
Target 2 - Update my Unit 1 P5 task for IT, it isn't quite complete as I have corrections to do from my teachers comments, with this done I will be caught up in IT.
Target 3 - Finish my job application letter for Unit 2, to do this I need to search for an appropriate job within the IT industry and create a job letter, as if I were to apply to that job.

Week 8 targets
Target 1 - I have started being late in mornings again, and need to get my punctuality back to the best possible state. My first target is to improve on this throughout the week and continue to stay punctual in future weeks.
Target 2 - Now I have my CV done and available businesses to apply for, I would like to apply for multiple jobs throughout the area by handing out my CV or emailing the businesses.
Target 3 - Catch up on all outstanding work, to do this I will refer to my list that I have created for each of my subjects in which I have colour coded all of the things i have to do in terms of urgency.

Week 7 targets
Target 1 - I have outstanding work on my product design course which needs completing, to do so I want to create a list of all of my work and tasks that need to be completed using colour coding to represent urgency.
Target 2 - Now I have copies of my CV, I would like to apply for jobs throughout my local area, but before i can do so i need to know what local businesses would be suitable for me. My target is to look around and ask people so I have a general idea of where to apply.

Week 6 targets
Target 1 - Make a decent start on the work set within IT, as I didn't get too much done in the first lesson. To do this I will have to use up some of my spare time and hopefully I can get back on track with this particular piece of work. It is the task P4 for unit 1, in which I have to create a powerpoint presentation.
Target 2 - Homework has been set in English language and I must analyse an extract from a piece of text. Week 5 Targets
Target 1 - Go to meadowhall (large shopping center) and pick up some revision resources like revision cards, highlighters and textbooks for english.
Target 2 - Print off lots of copies of my CV and apply for my social security number so I can begin applying for jobs. I may also need to change a few parts of my CV as it isn't 100% accurate.
Target 3 - Go into Media for a few dinners or my spare time this week to catch up on work that needs to be done, otherwise I risk getting behind in the unit.

Week 4 Targets Review
For my first task I did manage to make notes on things teachers say in lesson. I purchased a small booklet dedicated to this and assigned certain parts of it to my different subjects, I then had it by me in every lesson and took note of everything important during that lesson. For English Language I didn't need to book, and made notes in my main book anyway.

Week 4 Targets
For my first target of the week I need to take notes of everything teachers say in my lessons. In my coursework lessons such as product design and IT, it isn't as important, but I still need to take note of the key facts and pieces of knowledge that will be helpful throughout my A levels. When it comes to certain pieces of coursework or exams, I can look back on all of my notes and feel more confident whilst doing them.
My second target is to get my work done for every lesson, and make sure it's done in time for the set deadlines. To do this I'm going to keep note of every deadline set in lesson, and post it in a journal or booklet. I can then look in it whilst doing work and ensure my set tasks are completed for the appropriate time period. If I don't get all of my work done on time, I can fall behind and end up having to do catch up sessions which would be an inconvenience, it is much better to just get the work done on time.
My third and final target of the week is to stay focused during lessons and try to not get distracted by anything in them. Lately I have been falling behind a bit in lesson, and I need to learn to get my work done without going on my phone, talking to friends as much or other distracting things during lesson times.

I didn't end up completing both P2 and P3 due to not managing my time well enough. I did however manage to finish P2 using pictures to back up and emphasise my points as well as using multiple techniques to help improve my presentation. These consist of things like not overloading slides with information, using notes and thinking about target audience.

Week 3 targets
- My first target is to complete Mr Mullan's set work for the week. It is to complete the tasks associated with P2/P3. Ensure I carry out adequate research to enable me to complete the task with good detail and descriptions that are valid and well composed.
- My second target is to ensure that I complete all of the studies given the most effort that i possibly can to ensure that I succeed in my short term and long term goals. This includes keeping up to date with all coursework and starting revision for subjects i need to revise for.
- My third target is to complete my blog and ensure it is kept up to date with detailed descriptions. I need to give fair and valid evaluations using skills I've learned in my subjects. If I fall behind on my blog I will struggle to catch up so i need to prevent this as much as I can.

I managed to space out my lessons more efficiently by assigning specific lessons to free periods and other free time. This helped in different ways as it meant I was a lot more organised in every lesson. If I need to complete more work in a specific lesson, I can assign more of my free time to that subject, so it's a flexible system.
After organising my school stuff at night, before I went to bed I managed to start getting on time in mornings. This helped as I cleared up all of the things I had to do in a morning, meaning I had more time to get to school, this has helped because it reflects better on me and looks as if I care about being punctual. Week 2 targets
- For my first target this week I need to start spacing out effort between all of my lessons evenly. Previously, I have been prioritising certain lessons as opposed to working on them all equally. This is important so that my coursework in all classes is completed to a decent standard instead of a few being really good, and others being bad.

I managed to complete all of my media work using Microsoft PowerPoint. I explained all of the theories provided using sophisticated vocabulary and also lots of media terminology. I did it to my highest ability in order to show the teacher how much I knew about media.
For my second target, I fell behind on the task as I didn't find the time to go to Meadowhall, but I will try to go this weekend so I can be better equipped in every lesson.
I also completed my work for Mr Reilly to my highest potential, I researched the task using different sources on the internet, and also the documents Mr Reilly provided. I used the different forms of research so that I could ensure everything I found was accurate and valid by making sure multiple sources said the same thing.

Week 1 Targets
Post 1 - Personal Development Plan Targets
- Complete all of my IT work set by Mr Mullan for P7, this includes
looking for a job on the internet regarding some type of IT, and creating a job application form for it. I will also have to create a draft copy, and a full version after looking at Mr Mullan's comments.
- Go to Meadowhall and purchase a multitude of different items that will help
throughout sixth form like folders, highlighters, plastic wallets etc.
- Complete all work set by Mr Reilly for Unit 2, this is a leaflet
that explains why information and data to a bank is important, and how they
ensure it is all valid and reliable. I will have to go into a large amount of detail for every point I make to ensure I show a high level of understanding in my work.
- Complete all of my media work which consists of creating a PowerPoint that explains all of the theories, media language and other subjects. This will show the teacher how much I know about the subject, meaning I have to complete it to the highest quality as possible.
